Accountant

Are you interested in advancing your career with one of the oldest and largest Financial Institutions in the United States?  Our client is a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company and they are seeking a Tax Accountant to work in Tarrytown during Tax Season.  As a Tax Accountant, you will have experience in the preparation of Estate Tax work 706's and UHNW 1040 as well as extensive experience reviewing all types of tax returns including corporate, partnership and individual.  

Responsibilities

As a Tax Accountant Job Duties Include: 
• Review corporate, partnership and individual tax returns prepared by tax associates
• Prepare complex tax returns (multi-state business returns; complex pass-through entities and complex individual returns) as needed

The ideal Tax Accountant will possess the followingL 
• 5+ years of tax review experience
• CPA certification 
• Experience with ProSystem fx and/or CCH Axcess 
• A professional demeanor and the ability to handle matters confidentially
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated critical thinking, well-developed problem solving skills, and ability to work independently
• Ability to provide exceptional client service and exhibit a sense of urgency to complete work in a timely manner
