Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney
An international insurance organization has an immediate need for an insurance defense attorney with insurance defense experience licensed in Florida.
Work will be partially remote (a rotation of 1 week in office; 1 week at home).
The office is located in Tampa.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary role approved for 3 months in duration with the potential for an extension or to turn permanent.
Job Requirements of an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney: (a) An active license (in good standing) to practice law in Florida. (b) Five or more years of insurance defense experience. (c) strong writing and communication skills.

In this role you will be working on defending personal injury cases, specifically auto accidents and premises liability.
Primary duties include:
(i) tasks associated with the discovery process (e.g., taking depositions, preparing interrogatories, drafting discovery requests, reviewing medical records, etc.);
(ii) drafting pleadings and motions;
(iii) case evaluations;
(iv) arbitration and mediation
