PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The research operations coordinator is an operational and laboratory role within the New Biological Entity (NBE) group in Quantitative Pharmacology and Drug Disposition (QPD) to enable operational processes for the delivery of key critical reagents to support NBE clinical programs. As an integral member of a team, the Research Operations Coordinator will be working closely with QPD Study Monitor and Clinical Assay Development (CAD) Scientist to perform a diverse range of operational activities.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Support operational activities for a NBE clinical development program including contracting activities with Contract Research Organization (CRO), budgeting, and sample management.
o Support critical reagent management activities such as updating reagent inventory, assisting with internal reagent request process, managing reagent shipment, supporting project management and contracting activities with reagent generation CROs.
o Aliquot and label reagents and monitor their proper storage in the laboratory.
o Organize meetings and write meeting minutes.
Working hours: 8:30-5:00
-Bachelors degree in biomedical sciences or related fields with 0-2 years of experience.
-General biology laboratory experience is required.
-Prior project coordination and/or project management experience is desired.
-Excellent self-organizational and time management skills are required. Attention to detail is required.
-Great computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
