This is a temp to hire position. There will be a performance review based on attendance and performance which will determine eligibility to transition on permanently. The Accounting Clerk will be expected to provide support to the company's Accounting Department, including, but not limited to, data entry, accounts payable and billing support. Typical duties will include coding & entering accounts payable invoices, researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors, coding and recording accounts receivable payments, assisting with billing creation, storing accounting records & other accounting related data input projects.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities & Requirements

--Associates Degree preferred
--Minimum of 3 years' experience with the accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
--Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and general competence with other Microsoft Office applications. Vendor and internal employee interaction encompasses in-person, phone and e-mail correspondence, and would include the resolution of order or billing problems in relation to the accounting department
--Accounts Payable and invoice matching
--Experience with enterprise level accounting software
--Working knowledge of database structures & querying techniques.
--Experience with payroll processing preferred.
--Experience reconciling bank accounts preferred.
--Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers/clients

Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
