Our client is a loan and lender specialist, providing lending options to customers who often aren't given the chance to have their lending needs met because traditional lenders dismiss them as "high risk." They are looking for a few Application Response Specialists (ARS) to join their team for this month's training class starting on Tuesday, May 29.
This is a temp to hire position. If kept on permanently there are opportunities for advancement. Base hourly pay is $14.00/hour with commission paid on top of that. Training hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (2 weeks). Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 10am-6:30pm and overtime is required every other Saturday 9am-1pm. Shifts will be determined after training.
The ARS's are the first responders who receive applications from individuals who have applied online for a loan. They reach out to the applicant, form an introduction, and give a thorough but brief vetting of whether or not the prospective borrower meets the basic eligibility criteria. If they meet the criteria they are put in contact with a Loan Officer who will guide them through the rest of the lending process.
Working hours: 10 AM - 6 PM
-good verbal and written communication skills
-timeliness (strict attendance policy)
-able to build and maintain client relations
-associates or bachelors degree preferred
-loan experience a plus but not required
-2+ years experience in a customer service call center setting
-2+ years experience in sales (excludes retail unless in management)
