1. Can you describe what a typical day looks like for this role?
-This is a fax processing role and production is important. The associate logs into the phone system and accesses a pre-published schedule. The faxes are requests from providers asking us to a change a member???s Primary care provider for them. We make the change if we are able and send a confirmation fax. If we are not able to make the change, we send a rejection to the provider and educate them on the reason why the request was not completed.
2. What type of metrics will the candidates be measured on?
-Attendance is number 1, but production is a close second. Associates are given a ramp up period in which they are expected to make monthly increases until they are able to hit the processing goal (16 faxes per hour). Adherence (how well they adhere to their schedule) is also measured.
3. Is there any phone work involved?
-There may be occasions we need to reach out to get clarification on a fax but those are one-offs.
4. What does the training process look like?
-Training is typically 1 week. There are usually 2-3 days of classroom time and then an additional 2 days of an OJT where faxes are processed under close supervision
