The scheduling coordinator is responsible for the efficient coordination of production process utilized in product realization.

Responsibilities:
Retrieve Completed sales orders from the customer service department.
Determine which operations will be necessary to run the production order.
Determine the number of Kilometers of material needed to run the production order.
Look up the stock code in the plant software inventory query to determine the artwork code and to evaluate the construction of the production item.
Each production item on the sales order is then evaluated to make sure that all components and operations are consistent with the configured quotation,
Determine and allocate materials needed.
Open the back order review in plant software and find the stock code from the sales order.
pull all available artwork and color standards for the construction of job jacket.

Determine which machine each production item will run the most effectively on and place each operation on the machine level for scheduling purposes.
Flow orders in the production schedule; calculate run times for each machine. distribute schedules to each machine in the plant.

Update and forward daily pre-conference schedules to sales office.
distribute schedules to department leaders and review ongoing changes.
Determine if the production is tracking with the schedule and adjust as necessary.
Respond to sales office inquiries regarding ship dates, scheduling concerns and production run information.
Update shipping department daily with current shipping schedules and review order backlogs.
Organize material pick tickets by date and machine, distribute same to warehouse.

Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manual.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figure and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.The requirements listed are representative of knowledge, skill, and ability.

Must have 4 to 10 years of experience or a 4 year degree.or a combination.
