Our client is looking for a permanent Office Clerk in their downtown River North, office location. Schedule is standard office hours, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, they are ideally looking for someone who handles a diverse range of tasks and is willing to help out in the office no matter the task. This is more of an entry level role, some office/clerical experience is preferred. There will be 2 stages to the interview process, an initial phone screen and should they choose to move you to the second round, then an in-person interview.
-Supports the accounting and customer service departments in a variety of office functions.
-Some front desk coverage as needed from time to time
-Majority of work will be using AS400 to enter invoices, write out purchase orders, deleting orders in the system, processing commissions, filing accounts payables, etc.
-Person will be responsible for pulling daily order reports from AS400
-AS400 experience is great but not required. Intermediate Excel skills are required, but no pivot tables or vLookups, etc.
-Someone actively pursuing their degree and or looking for growth/an entry level role is a huge +++
-NO Career admins/"steady-eddys" for this role
