Product Manager Developer - Lighting
As the product development manager, your job is to plan, develop, research and document all aspects of the specific product (decor and home lighting) category life cycle.
The ideal candidate will primarily be focused on management of existing product categories (Lighting) and vendors. He/She will have 5-7 years experience, a comprehensive portfolio and a college degree in related field. He/She will LEAD NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT projects from conceptualization through development in fulfillment of customer opportunities or orders. He/She will work closely with sales, marketing, engineering and sourcing departments along with our overseas manufacturing partners in support of the Company's annual goals. Will manage product value engineering projects in support of the customer's needs/goals activities. Work with all cross functional teams and function as a technical liaison for sales inquiries/communication.
You will be working with Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales/Customer Support, Marketing/Graphics/Research, Pricing and managing all sample requests.
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
* Portfolio of past designs of decorative lighting
* College Degree
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills (attention to detail)
* 5-7 years experience
* Creative and knowledgeable of home and decor trends
* Ability to multitask with high sense of urgency and strong follow up skills
* Domestic and International travel required - approx 20% TRAVEL
