Loan Document Specialist
Our client, a major financial firm in Winston Salem, North Carolina is seeking to employ a Loan Document Specialist.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p
Assignment Length: 6 months
This position is within our client's Commercial Collateral group - Collateral is a property or other asset that a borrower offers as a way for a lender to secure a loan. If the borrower stops making the promised loan payments, the lender can seize the collateral to recoup its losses.
There are two teams that make up this group - one team reviews the collateral docs that have secured the loans and reviews the promissory notes and once the loan is paid in full sends out the proper docs.
The other team is the payoff team and they review the promissory notes and looks for anything that may change or prepayment and then recalculate what the pay-off is for the customer.
You will be supporting either team and will be working out of a queue; pulling your tasks for completion. Once that task is completed you go back to the queue and get the next task.
There is a production standard (number of items/day) based on the tasks you are performing.
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
We are seeking candidates with at least six months of loan document review experience and prefer candidates experience with lien release/title clearing/ mortgage doc review experience.
