Human Resources Assistant
Perform duties to assist with and administer any range of Human Resources activities including orientation, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, employee appreciation, and employee events.- *HR Experience is Required.* Part time position with chance to go permanent.
Working hours: 8-5 M-F
Position will have a heavy emphasis on Recruiting, Hiring, Onboarding and Offboarding.
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
-Heavy emphasis on recruiting while on the trial period
-Create new hire personnel folders.
-Create and maintain medical files as needed.
-Create termination and confidential folders.
-File all employee status changes, performance documents, benefits, acknowledgements, etc. in personnel files.
-Conduct audits, assist with special projects and respond to request of documents as needed.
-Provide back-up to respond to mortgage, social security, employment and income verification requests from third parties according to policy guidelines. Maintain copies and file appropriately.
-Assist with monthly Exit Interview correspondence.
-Prepare & deliver incoming/outgoing mail daily.
-Process E-verify requests for participants and submit required documents to Payroll.
-Prepare new hire packets, new hire orientation and supervisors training packets, etc.
-Provide administrative and clerical support and other general department activities.
