Our client located in Tempe is seeking a document review specialist in the insurance industry. The document review specialist provides centralized support primarily to the Insurance Brokerage and Consulting Unit.
In centralized the document review position you will provide value to the business through collecting, reviewing, analyzing policies to ensure they meet both our customer's and our own expectations for content, accuracy and completeness. The document review specialist will leverage specialized technology and business processes for ensuring we complete our work on time with a very high degree of accuracy.
The key responsibilities of the document review specialist are:
Meet personal and group production and quality goals and expectations.
Works primarily with Commercial Lines policies, and occasionally Personal/Private Risk policies.
Navigate multiple computer systems, and programs to review and analyze new and renewal insurance policies.
Checking policy details for discrepancies, errors or omissions against related documents, e.g. Prior policies, Binders, Proposals, Quotes, Endorsements
Requires quick decision making with a high volume of complex to highly complex customer policies and documents.
Ability to leverage technology and training to quickly identify, research, problem solve and notate policy discrepancies.
Work closely with Account Representatives and Field Offices to communicate and resolve questions or issues as they arise. Professional e-mail and phone etiquette is a must.
Work with team mates and managers to ensure expeditious responses to inquiries or requests, providing the highest level of customer service
Assist manager and team members with various initiatives and tasks as assigned.
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Skills to be successful in the document review specialist role include:
Confidently Navigate multiple computer programs and systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
Familiarity working with various file types: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, HTML, etc.
High attention to detail in reviewing insurance documents
Multitasking and Prioritizing in a time sensitive high volume production and quality environment
Qualifications for the role are:
1 year experience in the insurance industry
2 years experience in customer service
