Human Resources Assistant

Our client, a local non-profit located in South Philadelphia, is looking to hire a Human Resources Assistant to support their HR team. This is a temporary contract opportunity with a possibility of going permanent. $14/hr

Responsibilities:
Assists the Manager & Director of HR with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, helping with organizing office to some degree like filing.
Prepares administrative memos, documents, excel spreadsheets and power point presentations
Assists with HR temp placements; reviews files sent over by agencies as well as recruitment related tasks
Manages employee records ensuring files are in compliance
Assist with new hire paperwork, updates job descriptions
Create new orientation packets, updates department forms as needed
Orders all supplies for department
Answers phones and other duties assigned by HR Director and/or Manager

Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Skills:
-Minimum 2 years working within an HR department
-Associated Degree or relevant experience
-Great communication skills
-Intermediate Excel experience
-ADP Workplace
