Special Project Clerk

Randstad is working with a local government agency who is seeking an Electronic Health Records Post payment Auditor to join their small team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Responsibilities:
Management of electronic and telephonic inquiries related to the EHR Incentive Program Post-Payments, ensuring a timely response and accurate feedback.
- Implementing procedures and systems to administer the program in accordance with CMS Audit guidelines.
- Assists in meeting short-term and long-term project plans for various elements of the program.
- Maintains performance standards.
- Performs audits of provider financial information to ensure compliance with guidelines of the program.
- Uses excellent oral and written skills to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Conducts desk audits.
- Assists with all phases of the audit including planning and research, and reporting of findings, and other procedures as required.
- Maintains security and confidentiality of all protected health information when handling and analyzing provider material.
- Uses excellent oral and written skills to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders

Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Skills:
- Principles and practices of effective administration with particular attention to planning, organizing and implementing programs.
- Principles of program research.
- Principles and practices of collaboration with multi-level personnel within and outside the agency.
- Skills in the analysis, evaluation and resolution of complex problems.
- Effective project management to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ability to produce work products with limited supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain organized working papers, documenting fully all communications with multiple providers while being proficient, accurate and detailed.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritizing assignments using multi-tasking.
- Experience using applicable software programs and data querying tools, including Microsoft Office suite. (i.e. Excel, Access, Word, etc.)
- Familiar with the Electronic Health Records program and/or Medicaid

Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of provider and/or hospital business functions, especially the back-office functions of providers.
-Knowledge of EHR systems and other healthcare administration computer systems/software.
-Experience researching and implementing federal healthcare or related policy.
