The person we are seeking will have the following role:
--Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies for staffing, compensation, benefits, immigration, employee relations, training, and health and safety.
--Ensures human resources strategies align with organizational business goals.
--Evaluates human resources processes and strategies to determine improvements to be made and reports findings to top management. Requires a bachelor's degree.
--Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
--True first level manager.
??? Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
??? Has full authority for personnel actions.
??? Extensive knowledge of department processes.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

--8-12 years of HR generalist experience required
--Four (4) year degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
--Demonstrated expertise and effectiveness in at least 5 of the following areas of expertise: change leadership, organizational design, leadership development, talent and team development, compensation management, legal and regulatory requirements, investigations, employee and labor relations
--Excellent team building, conflict resolution, group interaction, and interpersonal skills.
--Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
--Demonstrated ability to lead professionals and manage others through influence and collaboration.
--Thorough knowledge of human resources policies, practices and systems.
--Regularly contributes to the development of new human resources/ employee relations concepts, techniques, and standards.
--Frequently contributes to the development of new department human resources and employee relations methods.
--Employs expertise as a generalist or specialist.

--Shift Required: Monday ??? Friday 9am ??? 5:30pm.
--Duration: 6 month contract with possible extension.
--Pay Rate: $60.00 per hour.
