Medical Front Desk Receptionist

^Assist with administrative duties involved with with coordinating patient and physician schedules.
^Bookkeeping, file management and office organization.
^Significant amounts of multi-tasking.
^Maintain confidentiality.
^Excellent Customer Service with patients, guests and employees.

Responsibilities:
^Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to appropriate party or handle the caller's needs.
^Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other calls.
^Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
^Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.
^Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based based on Physician and PA/NP availability.
^Maintain a hard copy of patient records as well as the files stored in EHR.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Skills:
^High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
^2+ years' experience in medical assisting or administration
^Familiarity with ECW a plus
^Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
^Excellent communication and problem solving skills
^Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software
