Our client a Global Shipping / Transportation organization is seeking a coordinator for their Ocean Import team. This position is a long term temporary role that does have the potential to become permanent.- All applicants MUST have experience with Ocean Import policies, procedures, customer service AND documentation. Proficiency with Excel and Outlook is required.
- Prepare and review documentation for Customs compliance and other governmental entities
- Data Entry for shipping and freight manifests
- Manage customer requests via phone and email
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Maintain professional demeanor with internal and external customers
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
--Must have Ocean Import Experience - can train on LCL procedures
--Previous office administrative experience
--High level of customer service, attention to detail and data entry scores
--Excellent organizational skills
--General clerical duties of copying, filing, and scanning
--Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
--Person must be a team player and have a good attitude
