Responsible for managing delivery drivers on a day-to-day basis which includes the orientation and ongoing training for delivery drivers and the
development of corresponding training materials. Runs routes on as needed basis for continuous customer service. Function as a team member
within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Design and conduct driver training in the most cost effective manner
Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (ie .,hours of service pre-trip/post-trip, etc.)Organize driver qualification
files on a monthly basis. Review accident and injury reports.
Manage assets (equipment/inventory/people)
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Serve customers in a friendly, timely and quality manner.
Interact with vendors
High school diploma or GED
Valid commercial drivers license
2-4 years transportation experience
Fleet operations management systems knowledge
