Contracts Management Specialist

A government entity in Downtown Phoenix is looking for hard working and dedicated Contract Management Specialist to join their growing team. This position is a long term temporary opportunity with a great foot in the door to this government giant!

Paying $20.00 an hour

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the review, processing, monitoring and management of contracts and procurement for Specialty Contracts. This position works collaboratively with the Programs, Business Operations, Quality Assurance, Health Care Services, Network Managers, representatives from State-Operated programs, Office of Licensing, Certification and Regulation (OLCR), contractors, Office of Procurement (OP) and other key stakeholders. This position ensures the accuracy of information, completeness of documentation, verification of appropriate certifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements within established time frames prior to execution of contracts.


?? Research contracts on the State??s e-procurement system for various program requested services.
?? Create and maintain spreadsheets for contract compliance purposes and tracking of member placement activity.
?? Review and interpret insurance documents and assess compliance with contract requirements.
?? Provide technical assistance via phone and email to contractors to come into compliance with contract requirements.
?? Review, interpret and write or revise Scope of Work documents.
?? Review, interpret and communicate Terms and Conditions (3 different types) provisions requirements to contracted and non-contracted agencies.
?? Communicate with provider agencies to establish direct contracts for Skilled Nursing Facilities services and Assisted Living Facilities services.
?? Write Competition Impracticable justifications for entering into direct contracts with qualifying agencies.
?? Review and research Claim Memo request submissions and write Claim Memos for approval to be submitted to the Office of Procurement.
?? Maintain existing contracts.
?? Business writing communication.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Familiar with Microsoft Office; type well and tech savvy
