Accounts Payable Clerk
Are you a skilled Accounts Payable Professional looking for a new opportunity? Are you attention to detail and complete work with precision? We are seeking for an Accounts Payable clerk for a large University in the West LA area.
If you have a positive, can do attitude this is the right fit for you? In addition to technical skills you must have a great process on how to process vendor invoices for multiple departments.
As an accounts payable clerk, you will update and process vendor invoices. You will work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements and create paperwork for check deposits.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Process invoices from vendors, create paperwork for check deposits and update database for Accounts Receivables
- Use Excel to reconcile ledgers and track expenses
- Scheduling and preparing checks and resolving purchase orders
- Financial Acumen with knowledge and experience working with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Purchasing
- Knowledge with GAAP
- Understanding of Fiscal close process
- Bachelor's a plus
- Previous accounting experience
- Keen eye for detail is necessity
