Administrative Operations Coordinator

An opportunity is available for a Full-Time Administrative Operations Coordinator at the headquarters of a global logistics company located in Annapolis, MD. Candidate must be dependable with strong interpersonal skills to oversee the daily operational functions related to department compliance goals, international ocean/air transportation and logistics.

??? Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison for existing and new clients
??? Provide clients, new and existing with both air and ocean rate quotations, bookings, coordination, schedules, and tracking
??? Communicate with clients and third parties on status of shipments
??? Track and enter data and billing information in the Automated Export System (AES)
??? Coordinate and manage shipment schedules and tracking
??? Promote sales through existing clients and establish leads to prospective clients
??? Other duties may be assigned.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

A minimum of one year of cargo industry related experience preferred in:
- General freight forwarding
- General accounting

- Proficient with computers, keyboarding, Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
- Basic sales experience
