Administrative Assitant

My North Shore Client, Middleton, Ma., is looking to add a dynamic administrative assistant to support a growing, independent distribution company and its' team.

The selected person will be responsible for providing back-office support for annuity and life insurance wholesaler team. This includes proactively communicating with advisers and multiple insurance carriers in order to expedite new business process , as well as, assist in general tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will function in a fast-paced office environment and will have the following skills:
Must have an understanding of how to process new applications for Annuity and Life Business.
Provides a high level of services to advisers, vendors and carriers in order to expedite the underwriting process.
Must be able to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively with internal and external customer on all issues pertaining to any new business department matter.
Must be highly effective in multi-tasking, managing and prioritizing their daily activities effectively.
Must respond to phone calls and emails continuously throughout the day.
Must be able to focus on providing superior customer services while getting applications approved expediently.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Self starter.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM Software.
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
College preferred/work experience equivalent considered.
