Administrative Assistant Entry level

Reporting to the Laboratory Director, the department assistant is responsible for initiating, coordinating and managing the clerical and secretarial functions.

Required:
1 year office management, administrative, or clerical service
High School Diploma
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to operate standard office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, photocopiers, calculators, and facsimile machines
Works well under pressure and with deadlines
Flexible
Ability to manage many simultaneous projects autonomously and maintain strict confidentiality
Detail-oriented. Well organized and able to prioritize duties
Fast learner and works well in a team-based environment
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with individuals on all levels, including executive staff

Preferred/Desired
2+ years office management, administrative, or clerical service
Associate's degree in related field
Bi-lingual in Spanish
