Commercial Lines Account Manager
Achieves sales profitability, growth and account penetration objectives by effectively selling, cross-selling and retaining customers/accounts
?? Manage assigned commercial and construction book of business.
?? Provide technical support to Account Executives and Producers, specifically in analyzing client needs, marketing, placement and customer service.
?? Obtain, from clients or Producers, thorough information for the proper submission and distribution of quotes.
?? Directly advises clients on coverage.
?? Completes all applications on-system and gets all documents required by carriers (i.e. loss runs, financial, questionnaires, etc.).
?? Promotes cross-selling.
?? Responds to referrals on a timely manner.
?? Prepares new business and renewal proposals.
?? Consistently has insureds sign applications and collects deposits from applicants.
?? Orders and issues: binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items.
?? Verify accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, bonds and endorsements, and delivers to insured.
?? Responsible for screening and processing bond applications, as assigned.
?? Request audited financial statements (corporate and/or individuals as the case may require) and other pertinent data required by the company for the bond issuance and follow up until received.
?? Analyze, with the Managing Director, the financial statements received, add pertinent financial data in the computer and forward to selected carrier when applicable.
?? Reviews and processes Audits. Assist clients with collections and disputes when needed.
?? Responds to all inquiries regarding coverage, premium payments and claims.
?? Maintain a high level of client service and satisfaction, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on-time.
?? Assist support staff in preventing cancellations.
?? Attend sales and management meetings as needed.
?? Responsible for acquiring knowledge of Insurance companies underwriting guidelines in order to provide assistance to customers.
?? Participate in seminars and classes for knowledge and skill development.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
