Administrative Assistant

Are you passionate about professional support? Are you a self-starter and have a superb ability to pay attention to details? If so, we are looking for you. This is a contract role that is scheduled for 4-5 weeks and starts immediately.

We're hiring an administrative / executive assistant to join the team for a mid-size healthcare company in the Parsippany / Morris Plains area. In this professional environment where you will support the President & CEO. The ideal candidate for this administrative / executive assistant position is organized, resourceful and a good problem solver.

Responsibilities:
As the administrative / executive assistant you will be responsible for:
??? Handling of incoming phone calls to ensure optimum customer satisfaction
??? Scheduling meetings, and as needed, attendance at meetings and transcribing minutes
??? Handling communication between President and employees, accounts, clients, providers, insurance adjusters, etc., either by mail, phone or email
??? Maintenance of statistical information and completion of excel reports as requested
??? Assisting in responses to Requests for Proposals
??? Assisting with billing tasks/expense report preparation

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
--Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and be a quick learner
--Must possess the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
--Must display good people skills and interact successfully with co-workers
--Excellent telephone manner
--Accurate typing abilities with minimum of 50 WPM
--Excellent writing and grammatical skills
--Knowledge of office machines, including PC, copiers, faxes, scanning
--Medical/Insurance background a plus

Qualifications:
??? Post high school education focusing on Business Education and a minimum of 5 years??? experience in an upper management office environment
??? Excellent computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
??? Effective at planning, organization, and time management
??? Positive and professional demeanor
??? Ability to work independently
??? Confidence working with all levels of internal and external contacts
