Our direct client is hiring for a Paralegal to join their company ASAP! paying from $90,000 to $100,000, This person will be Reporting to the Senior Counsel or VP, Regulatory and Commercial, the Paralegal assists the Legal Area in providing legal support to the staff in different departments such as Finance, HR , Corporate Development, Commercial Business, Government Affairs and IR Review.
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.
The Paralegal reviews contracts, identifies any concerns, discusses with attorneys to resolve any issues with some oversight.
Assist legal staff with various tasks including
??? SEC Filings
??? Preparation and organization of board and committee meetings
??? Contract Management and record keeping
??? Coordinate with other departments (i.e., finance, IR, HR, etc...)
??? Liaison with transfer agent regarding securities transactions
??? Tracking outside counsel expenditures
??? Prepare policies and procedures for various aspects of the company
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Strong, professional interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and departments.
Excellent writing skills, critical thinking and reasoning abilities are a must.
Ability to participate on teams with shared responsibility for outcomes and decision-making; resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.
Bachelor degree or Equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years in a law firm or public company
Life sciences experience preferred but not required
