Employee Relations Consultant
We are currently looking for candidates with extensive knowledge in Human Resources, specifically with Employee Relations Consultation. The ideal candidate would have previous experience with conflict resolution in HR. You will be working closely with the HR department, to oversee and manage any employee issues, inspecting and resolving these where possible. Serving as the first point of call for advice and problem solving in the areas of employee relations, discipline and performance management. You will provide guidance on various matters including documentation and policies; researching and analyzing any employee relations concerns and suggesting recommendations to client management
- 3+ Years in Conflict Resolution, Employee Relations, or internal investigations
- Experience on phones
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
-Knowledge of equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements as related to public sector human resources procedures.
-Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
-Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
-Ability to analyze complex information, and to define and solve problems.
-Understanding of employment laws and conventions as well as the public sector employment policies and processes
