A large logistics company in the South Charlotte area is looking to add a Procurement Assistant to their Purchasing team. This will be a temp to hire role paying $17-18/hr and will have full time hours of M-F 8-5. This company has a lot of opportunity for growth as they continue to expand. - Maintain all purchasing documentation
- Monitor/Coordinate deliveries
- Coordinate return of incorrect items
- Handle customer questions/inquiries
- Assist purchasing department in all areas
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 2-4 years of purchasing/buyer experience
- Excel knowledge: pivot tables, formulas, vlookups
- Experience using an ERP system
- Knowledge of sales and use tax for purchased items
- high level of communication skills
