Administrative Assistant

Randstad is seeking a talented and experienced Administrative Assistant to work with our client, who is a global leader in the field of Argiculture and Biotechnology.
This position will work directly with their US IT Lead and leadership team on a varied set of administrative tasks.
In this role you wil responsible for managing schedules and activities with an understanding of IT and business priorities. You should be be comfortable with independent decision-making and take ownership of outcomes. Problem-solving skills and high level of professionalism, integrity and diplomacy is required as the successful person will be exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Calendar management in O365
  • Meeting room management
  • Travel booking
  • Expense reporting
  • New employee/contractor onboarding
  • Team lunch orders
  • Document proof read/reviews
  • Running down deliverables from direct reports as necessary
  • Develop/Maintain spreadsheets and PowerPoint's
  • Attend staff meeting take notes/publish minutes
  • Org Newsletter Development/Distribution
  • Planning/coordination of process workshops, lunch and learns
  • SI Org document management oversight (reminding team to keep docs current etc.)
  • SharePoint site oversight
  • Assist with complex meeting setup/scheduling/organization/coordination

Must be energetic, agile, positive, and solution-oriented with an ability to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines. The individual will be the face of the IT Leadership or IT Extended leadership member and must present themselves in a professional manner, possessing excellent communication (written, oral and in person) and relationship building skills in order to interact and effectively work with management at all levels.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in an office environment for administrative work:
  • Expertise in Microsoft O365 environment including: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
  • High school diploma with minimum of five years of senior level Administrative Assistant or similar experience in an IT administrative role, supporting multiple managers in a fast paced, complex environment
