Sales Analyst

Our client, growing manufacturer in Norwood, MA is seeking a Sales Planning Analyst for a full time, permanent opportunity! This individual will be responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis and reporting of sales data, forecasting, marketing plans and more to the sales oriented programs throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Translates category marketing and business plans into clear commercial objectives, guidelines, and strategy to support development of commercial plan
Leads the development, implementation, and tracking of assortment, pricing, and promotion strategy for each category brand
Provides customer/field sales perspective to the marketing and brand teams to support development and implementation of marketing plans
Works collaboratively with trade finance, sales leadership and marketing to establish commercial processes and guidelines for category trade spending
Tracks net sales and develops strategies to improve promotion efficiency
Supports development and communication of reports and tracking of key category sales KPIs
Supports development and implementation of strategic projects to support category objectives for retail visibility, channel development, assortment/sizing, merchandising, customer marketing, pricing, and promotion
Provides sales perspective on category volume pacing and forecasts to support the demand consensus process
Responsible for delivery of sales volume for non-branded and co-manufacturer business
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Strong management skills with the ability to clearly communicate expectations and motivate peers and subordinates to action
Excellent communication skills; understands audience and adjusts communication to drive desired results
Advanced computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven networking skills and abilities
Must be a self starter with leadership abilities
Qualifications:
5-7 years of field sales experience
Recent Broker or Direct Sales Management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Finance preferred
MBA preferred
Marketing or Category Management experience is a plus
Must be willing to travel 10-15%
Knowledge of consumer branding, promotional techniques and communication
