Procurement Support Specialist

To provide facilitate support Procurement in the daily activities and inquiries from Field Operations and RSC associated with procurement operations support for ordering, expediting and resolving issues associated with procuring goods and services. This role is an operational role requiring strong customer service skills, project management, communication and planning skills. The ability to multi-task and operate within demanding time frames and deadlines is imperative to the success of the role. Must be able to see problems in their entirety, recognize interdependencies and sort through issues to solve problems. A strong analytical and problem solving ability is needed to work with data and issues. Needs to be extremely well organized, pay attention to detail and follow up well to deliver project results in time and ensure continuity of supply. Be clear and accurate in providing information to internal stakeholders, internal partners and suppliers, both verbal and written.

I.Direct Procurement Support:
Day to Day
1.Purchase Order management
2.Invoice management
3.Ariba and JDE helpdesk gatekeeper as it pertains to Procurement for Field Ops and RSC
???Secondary Tasks and Programs
4.Rebate program management
5.File management-scanning
6.Pricing Analyst function direct and indirect to include price posting and maintaining database of catalogs as needed (to include additions or quick list as approved by IT, Technical Services and Operations.
II.Provide training to field and business owners:
1.JDE and Ariba Systems (P2P systems family)
2.Entire PO, Invoice & Payment processing- Check request, invoice input and coding
3.Returns (RMA)
4.Order Status
5.Order Edits
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills including ability to utilize VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
- AP/AR or similar processing experience including data entry and reconciliation
- Excellent written and verbal communications - role will need to interface with suppliers to resolve issues
- Analytical/Problem solving skills - Individual will be tasked with
- Inventory Management experience - including setting reorder points, rotations, and replenishment
- Prefer Ariba and JDE experience, but not required
Qualifications:
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in procurement and information technology. Customer service type environment experience, Ariba and JD Edwards systems knowledge are both a plus
Other Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Ariba and JDE software as it relates to requisition, purchase orders, receipts and invoice reconciliation modules. Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes and procedures. A working knowledge of software license management, project management and proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word.
