Administrative Coordinator

On behalf of Johns Hopkins University we are seeking an experienced temporary Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support and perform general office management duties to ensure department functions run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing administrative support to a large department. Organizes department functions and meetings and provides complex administrative support for the entire group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:) Providing wide range of administrative support to include: word processing, ordering supplies, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, filing, time sheet/attendance tracking and P.O. processing) Performing a variety of both complex and routine duties such as creating letters, spreadsheets, reports and may assist in development of presentations) Assisting in special projects requiring researching, compiling data, bookkeeping and pay rolling assistance, and some analysis if required) Assisting with department budget process including reconciling discrepancies in methodology financial statements, inputting and receiving financials) Assisting lower level administrative staff with various projects or tasks if required Provides administrative support and performs general office management duties necessary in the efficient operation of an office or program. Responsibilities require significant collaboration and coordination with others. Duties include, but are not limited to several of the following:) Calendaring, ordering supplies, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, filing, time sheet/attendance tracking and P.O. processing) Drafting letters, creating and/or maintaining spreadsheets and reports, and assisting with the development of presentations) Assisting with special projects requiring research, compiling data) Monitoring departmental expenses against budget, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with budget projections and development).
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience calendaring in Outlook
SAP experience is preferred but not mandatory
Qualifications:
High School /GED required
3-4 years of related office experience
