Randstad in partnership with The Hanover Insurance Group are actively seeking a Business Records Specialist to join their Office of the General Counsel in Worcester, MA starting in on a temp to hire basis. -Career Development: 3-6 months temp to hire employment with comprehensive job training and continued mentorship ongoing.
-Starting pay: $22.00 - $25.00 / hour. Expectation is that this rate increases and transfers into a salary upon converting to a Hanover employee.
-Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
-Benefits: Yes, both as a temp and when permanent with Hanover.
Responsibilities:
The Business Records Specialist is responsible for providing service and support to the Information Governance team for their enterprise-wide efforts relating to the efficient and systematic compliance and control of the creation, maintenance, use and disposition of Business Records.
-Supports efforts relating to the Information Lifecycle Governance Program and works as a direct member of the Information Lifecycle Governance Team.
-Assists in the review and research of the monthly shredding program, which consists of preparing documentation, invoice distribution, and tracking/reconciliation of vendor payments.
-Helps to review and control the archive access requests within established service levels (SLA) and quality standards.
-Assists with providing web training or support to customers across the organization.
-Adds data sources into the data map application, tracking the progress and working with the business to fill in gaps and handles data entry.
-Ability to occasionally lift file/records boxes up to 25 lbs.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Must demonstrate careful attention to detail and can easily adapts to new, different, or changing situations, requirements, or priorities.-
-MS Office proficiency; Inputs and exports data into Excel reports and is comfortable with applying filters to sort through data.
-Possesses basic understanding of information governance, laws and regulations, security and privacy.
-Has a strong commitment to teamwork and works with the team to ensure consistency and harmony.
Qualifications:
-Associate's Degree required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the records, legal admin, or information governance field. Property and Casualty insurance knowledge preferable.
-Prior customer service, vendor management, records, internal or external archiving and/or administrative services experience preferred.????
