MEDICAL CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST
We are a health provider management company that is nationwide and we specialize in placing and managing Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists. Our providers are numerous hospitals, surgery centers, and outpatient surgical facilities. We are looking for an amazing and skilled Credentialing Assistant to join our team. The Credentialing Assistant will support our Senior Credentialing Staff and the overall Coordinator to provide administrative backup and project related support during the ongoing doctor/nurse credential checks. The credentialing process is a through check into all of the doctor's and nurse's work history, background, complaints, case reviews, and overall medical performance during their career. It is a vital part of the management of high-level medical professionals and does require meticulous and detail oriented skills so nothing is overlooked or missed. A process for credentialing is followed and is easily documented and tracked within our company database for each doctor and nurse we manage. Solid administrative assistant skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a must to do well in this position. We are also looking for someone who has great work ethics such as being on time for work, able to work with a diverse group of people and personalities, and a polished and professional attitude. This is a full-time position and we offer medical, dental, vision, PTO / Holiday pay and 401K benefits.
The main purpose of the Credentialing Assistant is to facilitate the "checks and balances" process for Physicians and Certified Nurse Anesthetists who will be working within several hospitals in Florida. Knowledge of the credentialing system or a medical background working to place or obtain hospital privileges for physicians and CRNA's is a PLUS. We are looking for a level of skill for this position and someone with good leadership skills.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
