Position: Administrative Assistant
Contract: 3-6 month contract to hire position based on performance (one year contract)
A Global Pharmaceutical Company in Lexingtom MA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Immunology Patient Services Group.The Administrative Assistant provides support for members of the Immunology Patient Services team. This is accomplished by coordinating the support of assigned leadership and team members, as well as routine departmental support as requested. Daily items for assigned personnel include calendar management, scheduling of meetings, phone support, expense reports, travel arrangements, word processing of documents, development of presentation slides, tracking/processing of purchasing requests (proposals, POs, accruals), and any other departmental support tasks as assigned.
Supports one or more mid to senior-level managers. Works in a diverse and more complex environment; and includes customer and executive contact. Performs more complex administrative activities including managing projects, composing letters and reports, preparing/editing presentations, recommending or making purchase decisions. Has intermediate to advanced computer skills including: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, desktop publishing, database and/or project management applications.Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Possesses strong interpersonal skills, leadership, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills. Strong ability to manage calendars, make travel arrangements and process expense reports. May also possess specialized industry skill/knowledge.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Prepare routine and non-routine correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
Advanced MS Office Suite
Ability to operate general office equipment
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Ability to interact appropriately with senior management on a regular basis
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills; ability to organize and maintain accurate, orderly files and records

High School diploma or equivalent required;
5-7+ years administrative experience in a fast-paced professional environment
