The Marketing Communications Coordinator will be responsible for defining and growing the company brand across all media platforms. This person will serve as a central resource for brand and product related communications, and will be the primary resource for creating, maintaining and deploying content. This individual will also assist Marketing leadership in other departmental functions, including the development and execution of marketing tools and materials, presentations, promotional programs, trade shows and marketing events. Additionally, this individual will assist in all market research activities as directed by Marketing Operations Manager.
*Develop and lead Public Relations strategies designed to increase brand awareness, including but not limited to press releases.
*Secure editorial coverage in trade and consumer publications. Develop relationships with editors and journalists of these publications and proactively manage editorial calendars.
*Update content on the website, including news, events and products
*Lead initiatives designed to secure brand/product testimonials
*Manage celebrity outreach programs if identified
*Monitor media coverage for the brand and inform executive management team of coverage
*Manage internal communications between marketing and sales (i.e. Employee App and Newsletter)
*Manage email marketing for Education events
*Monitor and ensure all eCommerce customers are in compliance with our registry for images and copy
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
*Manage intake of creative service work orders and work with Marketing Operations Manager to prioritize
*Monitor and track all creative service work orders. Ensure assigned activities are completed and delivered within the committed time-lines, facilitate project status meetings with the Marketing Operations Manager and communicate project status updates to Marketing department on a weekly basis.
*Provide marketing support to National Accounts
*Coordinate and execute delivery of all visual directives and marketing collateral with customers and sales representatives
*Facilitate and manage the process of marketing materials and marketing deliverables between marketing, warehouse and purchasing
*Create copy for marketing collateral such as brochures, new products, sell sheets, etc.
*Assist Marketing Operations Manager with final copy approval / put new system in place for copy approval
??? Bachelor???s Degree and/or 1-3 years??? experience in Event Planning, Communications, Customer Service or similar field
??? Must have experience managing and negotiating with multiple 3rd party vendors (trade shows, giveaways, etc.)
