Jr. Graphic Designer
Supports company's overall customer / consumer marketing strategy and brand engagement through the execution of exceptional consumer experiences increasing brand loyalty, market share and share-of-market. To accomplish this, uses experience as production artist with the company to produce jobs independently with collaborative and multitasking abilities. In addition, Creative Services will have critical skills in workflow process, scheduling, trafficking and project management.
*Provides creative, graphic design and execution to include:
??? Product packaging: Creation and Updates
??? Visual merchandising/signage;
??? Consumer and In-Store events;
??? Associate training/product knowledge;
??? Print collateral;
??? Social media;
??? Email programs;
??? Print and web advertisements;
??? Video production and editing.
*Monitors brand guidelines as provided by HQ and confirm internal adherence to guidelines.
*Participates in creative brainstorming sessions.
*Supports VP of Marketing and Product Managers with job assignments and manages deliverables from Creative Services across different media types and international versions???to successful upload and completion???media types include catalogs, posters, packaging, direct mail, sales collateral, PDF's, and tradeshow graphics.
*Implements ideas for improving Creative Workflow to ensure smooth processes and cost containment.
*Manages internal and external projects to keep them on time and on budget.
*Manages design traffic for Sales Rep requests (co-op and customized materials) as deemed appropriate by VP of Marketing and Product Managers.
*Evaluates all operational aspects of department, including creative hardware/software, their cost-benefit, making sound recommendations to VP of Marketing to improve process.
*Assists in trafficking / tracking jobs, from beginning to end, by resource, so productivity by job type and personnel can be measured and improved.
*Manages our library of Digital Assets so that files can be easily found and accessed by Creative Services department.
*Oversees packaged files of jobs for release to Printer(s).
*Post-production - backup jobs, storing of job jackets, post mortems to improve process.
*Works with internal resources and vendors to help develop strategies and appropriate tactics for successful realization of projects.
*Keeps up-to-date with digital media trends and support creative solutions.
*Supports internal Mac platforms as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
--Bachelor's Degree and/or 1 to 3 years' experience in graphic design, environmental, web design, CPG packaging and retail visual merchandising or similar field.
--Must have experience on a MAC, including Adobe CS and Keynote.
