Stock Plan Administrator- Administrative Assistant

One of our premier clients in the digital business cloud services industry is seeking an experienced Stock Plan Administrator/Administrative Assistant to join its Legal team. You will be primarily responsible for the administration, management and compliance of our global equity compensation program reporting directly to the Attorneys and Paralegals. You will be working in their global headquarters in Hollywood and parking is FREE! You will also be working as an integral part of an intimate, seasoned legal team with strong visibility by the rest of the decision makers in the organization. You will be a vital person in the organization and management of their program through the Equity Edge software platform.
?? Maintain Equity Edge database and ensure accurate record keeping of equity data.
?? Process all equity award and option activity, including new grants, vests, terminations, cancellations and option exercises.
?? Administer the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
?? Work closely with the company??s transfer agent, outside broker service providers, and internal legal, payroll, tax and other teams, as necessary.
?? Ensure accurate U.S. and international reporting of equity activity.
?? Maintain trading blackout periods, pre-clearance and enforcement of insider trading policy restrictions.
?? Act as point of contact for employee questions and training on equity.
?? Lead efforts to automate and enhance existing processes to enable efficient, accurate and timely processing of equity award data.
?? Provide support for stock-related sections of 10Qs, 10Ks and Proxy Statements, and Section 16 Forms 3, 4 and 5.
?? Support month-end and annual accounting processes and reconciliations.
?? Perform other duties and ad hoc projects and reporting as requested.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Here is what you will need to bring to the table to be considered for this prime opportunity:
--Experience with stock options, RSA/RSUs, PSA/PSUs, and ESPP plans.
--Knowledge and experience with Equity Edge is a MUST
--Experience with U.S. and international equity taxation.
--Experience with equity component of quarter and year-end audit processes.
--Knowledge of regulatory aspects of equity administration, an understanding of stock administration marketplace trends, and knowledge of industry best practices.
--Demonstrated expertise with global equity programs at a public company, and experience working with Equity Edge and other major third-party equity software systems and brokerage firms.
--Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey knowledge clearly and effectively.
--Excellent and practical judgment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
--Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
--High energy level and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
--Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
--Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure and rapidly changing environments.
