Work the Specialty Pharmacy order from all workstations & know all the various department procedures. Walk orders through the system as needed for STAT delivery. Answer all incoming calls in a timely & professional manner. Work with the Lead and Supervisor to suggest system enhancements, new business procedures & good customer service processes.
-Process Pharmacy medication prescriptions within established guidelines, while providing detailed documentation via internal and external systems.
-Use various computer applications both internal and commercial to perform data entry
-Support Customer Service in providing accurate and timely responses relating to order status, claim handling issues and special processing circumstances as they arise.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Pharmacy Technician License is required.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
1 year of Pharm Tech experience is required.
