Accounts Receivable Clerk
Randstad is currently recruiting for Accounts Receivable Clerks.
Please review the job summary:
^ Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions.
^ Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
^ Maintains records by microfilming invoices, debits and credits.
^ Prepare customer statements, bills and invoices, and reconcile expenses to the general ledger.
^ Perform day to day financial transactions , including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables.
The following is a summary of some of the responsibilities of an Accounts Receivable Clerk:
^ Process and verify applications for credits.
^ Solicit payment on overdue accounts.
^ Compile necessary information from financial institutions such as banks and credit organizations.
^ Keep records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files and tabulating credit risks.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 8:30 PM
^ Knowledge of basic accounts receivable concepts, practices, and procedures.
^ High school diploma or GED required.
^ Minimum 3 years experience with A/R.
^ Knowledge and experience with credit verification software and systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, JD Edwards and and Peachtree a plus.
