*Under general supervision, performs the administrative functions related to provider credentialing.- Provides administrative support to related Credentialing Committees.
*Ability to gather and coordinate required information under strict time lines.
*Ability to pay close attention to detail is required in order to comply with credentialing.
*Highly effective verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing skills are necessary in order to work with the medical or nursing staff.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
*High School Diploma or equivalent is required.- Associate of Arts Degree in Health Sciences, Medical Records or related is preferred.
*Two years credentialing experience is required.
*Demonstrated knowledge of The Joint Commission, NCQA, Federal, and State requirements regarding the credentialing process.
*Knowledge of personal computers including work processing and spreadsheet software is required for logging and tracking.
*Knowledge of credentialing software preferred.
