As a Medical Biller, you are responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare and Medicaid. Also you will be responsible in making collection calls. You must have experience with ICD-9 or ICD-10 experience or handling a large volume of medical billing claims.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The following requirements are as followed:
- 2 plus years of medical billing experience
- Collections background
- Experience with HMO, PPO or medicare/medical, ICD-9 or ICD-10
- Ability to follow up with claims
- Attention to detail
- Nextgen experience preferred but not required
- Heavy with billing experience
- Responsible for processing health insurance claims for doctors' offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. ...
- Ability to enter insurance claims into specialized billing programs.
