Insurance Follow Up Specialist

Our ideal candidates will have hands on insurance follow up experience on rejected and unpaid claims. You will also connect with patients through listening, understanding, and developing relationships with people behind the bill.
Title: Insurance Follow Up Specialist
Pay: $16/hr - $17.50
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm
60-90 Day Temp
Location: Northwest Houston, TX 77092
??? Initiate contacts and negotiate appropriate resolution (internal and external).
??? Receive and resolve inquiries and correspondence from third parties and patients.
??? Researching accounts and refiling or appealing claims
??? Submitting additional medical documentation and tracking account status by monitoring and analyzing assigned unresolved third party accounts.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
--Must have at least 1 year of medical claims resolution/follow-up OR vocational school certification in Medical Insurance and Billing
??? Handle a high volume of phone calls.
??? Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Worker???s Comp background
??? Outstanding listening, communication, problem-solving, and research skills
??? HIPAA knowledge
