Retirement Services--Financial Analyst

Pay: $15.00/hour ($16.50/hour for bilingual candidates)

About the Job: Position starts on 8/20/2018. After the first 6-12 months of employment with Randstad, there is potential to apply for permanent hire with our client! During the first 6 months, you're paid a competitive wage of $15 or $16.50 per hour, which increase to $33,800 annually! There will be a PAID, 6 week training program that prepares you for a long term, successful career.

Background Requirements: If selected for hire, you will need to pass a criminal background check, a credit check and a 10 panel drug screen. You will also need to provide education verification documents (degree, transcripts or class schedule)

Responsibilities:
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Provides prompt efficient service for assigned product and/or service center internal and external customers. Designs and administers plans funded by all types of investments, with investment direction provided by trustee(s) and/or plan participants. Coordinates full communication between contract holders, producers, and with internal departments. The following duties cover what are generally believed to be principal and essential functions of the job. Specific circumstances may allow or require some people assigned to the job to perform a somewhat different combination of duties.
Prepares all materials to propose, sell, and establish new plans and set up appropriate records: proposal illustrations, trust agreements, IRS determination reporting, employee communications and client administrative guide, census and plan information on system.
Follow-up with appropriate internal administrative areas for completeness and accuracy of the end policy/account product.
Reviews and approves requests for withdrawal, exchanges, deposits, annuity purchases, and contract cash-outs. Requests additional information when necessary.
Compiles management information such as contract and sold case activity as needed by internal management.
Communicates with customers, sales force, other departments, regional and/or field offices and other industry companies through oral and written communications. Maintains appropriate records.
Approves and processes business in accordance with government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures and controls.
Provides quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and emphasizing timely responses.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Skills:
Skills: Ability to prioritize own work within standards. Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management. Decision making skills necessary for customer contacts. Ability to identify and evaluate problems and analyze customer inquiries and determine the appropriate action. Decision making skills necessary for problem identification and correction. Ability to coordinate and conduct, direct or lead a project or the training of team members. Proven ability to operate a CRT and PC.
A completed or nearly completed Bachelor's Degree (preferably in business or a related field)
Candidates who hunt for innovative ideas and seek feedback to continuously improve performance
A passion and drive to succeed in a fast paced environment
An engaging personality, both in person and over the phone
One year of solid work experience in a service related field. Restaurant, retail, administrative, hospitality, etc.
Candidates must be able to deliver friendly customer service while talking on the phone and working through computer systems simultaneously
A SERIES 6 LICENSE WILL EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED--as a full time Nationwide employee, this license will allow you to talk to customers about investment options, trading mutual funds and increasing contributions

Scheduling/Availability:
Our hours of operation are Monday ??? Friday 8am to 8pm (beginning 11/4/2018, when Daylight Saving Time ends, we will be open until 9pm) and 6am to 3pm Saturdays. Workers must be available to work any shift that falls within these hours. Typically a contractor will not work Saturdays right out of training, but this is a possibility.
Training will be from 8am to 4:45pm Monday-Friday for SIX WEEKS
