Customer Service Intermediate level
The Consumer Service Representative is responsible for assisting consumers with product information and/or the purchase and shipping of customer's items, as well as warranty issues related to customer's products.
?? Acts as the primary contact for phone calls and emails from consumers and responds to their questions, comments and requests for information in a timely manner.
?? Creates the initial consumer entry in to the Oracle database; enters, processes and files all consumer orders.
?? Enters and assigns Return Authorization Numbers for all consumer returns to company's for warranty consideration and replacement.
?? Serves as the primary contact for the Member??s Mark Warranty Service Center and handles the processing and communication of all Member??s Mark replacement items shipped to consumers.
?? Assists consumers with purchases and returns in the company's store
?? Receives and processes all consumer and drop ship customer returns in a timely manner
?? Inspects returned cutlery, cookware and accessory items from consumers for defects in material and workmanship or consumer misuse.
?? Researches issues from Accounts Receivable related to consumer order processing errors.
?? Performs other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS, INCLUDING EXPERIENCE IN MERGING DOCUMENTS IN EXCEL
ORACLE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
--2 + years of customer service experience, preferably in consumer products.
--Ability to write a concise and thorough letter, fax or email to a customer or consumer. Ability to speak with customers or consumers over the phone in a clear and professional fashion.
--Strong PC and basic math skills
--Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
--Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
--Establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, manager and other departments.
--Oracle experience preferred.
PC, Windows, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), Oracle, office equipment.
Work is carried out in a fast-paced, controlled, agreeable office environment (open cubicle area). Standard schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days a week; however, overtime and/or changes in hours may occasionally be required to meet order commitments.
