Treasury Compliance Analyst

A Texas-based Fortune 500 financial services group is looking to hire a Financial Services Compliance Analyst in their San Antonio headquarters. Treasury Compliance Analysts are responsible for preparing and executing financial compliance testing related to investments, liquidity, interest rate risk management, and capital.

Pay: $32.00/hr
Location:
Duration: 3 to 6 months with the possibility of an extension

Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain and update internal databases and reports REPORTING
Prepare weekly issue management reports (Excel)
Prepare monthly compliance training reports (Excel)
Assist in the design and development of compliance testing strategies and methodologies TESTING
Prepare Compliance Test Entrance Conference Briefing (PowerPoint)
Execute Compliance Tests following test scripts provided
Review observations with the Client
Write final Compliance Test Report
Prepare Compliance Test Exit Conference Briefing (PowerPoint)
Assist with regulatory exams
Research regulatory requirements D.E. EFFORTS
Research specific laws/regs
Summarize the requirements of each law/reg researched
Align identified requirements to existing controls and notate observations
Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures
Prepare various reports and other compliance documentation
Investigate, analyze and document all areas of possible regulatory concern. ISSUE MANAGEMENT
Review issues identified by the Client
Determine if the issue has a compliance impact (or not)
Review the Client??s action plans and determine if they adequately mitigate the identified risk
Monitor issues through the lifecycle to ensure each issue meets set deadlines
Coordinate regulatory exams and internal business unit audits and coordinate rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Five or more years of relevant work experience in Capital, Investments, Liquidity, and Interest Rate Risk Management
Advanced knowledge of regulations and regulatory guidance on Capital, Investments, Liquidity, and Interest Rate Risk Management

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, or business
Proven ability to collaborate
Proficiency in computer applications
