Training and e-Learning Developer
Randstad is hiring an Training & e-Learning Developer to work with our client, a major athletic footwear and apparel company, located in Beaverton.
The Training & e-Learning Developer is responsible for working closely with the team to conceptualize, design, and write interactive learning solutions (primarily instructor-led training and on-demand solutions) that target learning objectives and improve performance.
As a Training & e-Learning Developer in the Global Sourcing & Manufacturing (GSM) Center of Excellence, this role supports the transition and training management for a GSM Finance project.
The person in this role will provide instructional design expertise aligned to the project strategy and create innovative, compelling, succinct and consistent training deliverables across a variety of channels to inform and educate a broad audience in support of change.
Collaborate with other members of the transition and standards strategy team, subject matter experts and/or consultants in the creation of learning deliverables
Design and develop ITL and e-learning courses, job aids, assessment tools that incorporate adult learning principles and standard instructional design processes
Design and develop instructional material for training courses and ongoing training materials in support of upcoming Fall deployment and beyond
Demonstrate and utilize effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills
Utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools (MS Word, PowerPoint is a MUST, Adobe Creative Suite including Premier Pro, Acrobat Pro and Captivate)??
Understand language needs to communicate messages in the best way for specific audiences (executives, end-users, ESL, etc.)
Simplify complexity and develop compelling stories to help transition stakeholders successfully from point A to point B
Integrate brand guidelines into all deliverables and help others on the project team do the same
Proofread and edit individual work and work of others to improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of documentation
Meet the design and development process including timelines, deliverables and target dates
Provide guidance and specialized knowledge to other members of the team
Communicate frequently and effectively with team members, SMEs and other course stakeholders
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
--Utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools (MS Word, PowerPoint is a MUST, Adobe Creative Suite including Premier Pro, Acrobat Pro and Captivate)
--5-7 years hands-on content and course curriculum development
--Bachelor's degree required
--Expert level command of common authoring tools and course development methodologies. (MS Word, PowerPoint is a MUST, Adobe Creative Suite including Premier Pro, Acrobat Pro and Captivate)
--Deep working knowledge and application of adult learning theory and teaching techniques.
--Ability to communicate and execute clear, consistent and applicable learning experiences aligned to organizational goals. - Excellent project management skills - a must.
--Excellent oral communication, presentation, writing and editing skills.
--Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and peers to deliver business results.
--Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and juggle multiple (and potentially conflicting) priorities.
