Documentation Specialist

Maintain and control all documents that come through. Reports to RA/QA supervisor. Work with appropriate company personnel to facilitate efficient handling and investigation of Product Service Reports i.e Complaints for customers. Manage regulatory activities as assigned by the Director of Operations, or designee. This includes but is not limited to submitting request for quotes to test labs, and prepare/submit samples for external testing. Provide support in the area of food contact compliance, REACH compliance, Conflict Minerals, ETC. Maintain procedures relates to assigned ares of responsibility. Examples may include document control, records control, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Process all quality system documents electronic and/or hard copy and distribute to all pertinent departments.
-Identify, collect, index, file and store all hard copy "Master Copy" QMS documents and records
-Maintain master lists of all QMS documents, document distribution and change requests
-Prepare, upload and maintain approved QMS documents on company's intranet
-Ensure new revisions #'s of documents and employee training requirements are entered into the Track Training Program(TTP) and make Managers/Supervisors aware of new revisions.
-Order, Maintain and Distribute national and international standards and ensure most current revision in accessible
-Coordinate disposition of artwork if necessary and maintain proper documentation.
-Keep documents current through Document Review or as necessary to keep documents in compliance with current practices
-Assist with maintaining current training, as needed
-Coordinate and submit products for Food Contact testing.
-Maintain current reports for applicable products.
-Issue and distribute letter of conformance for food contact materials as necessary
-Conduct Internal Auditing
-Will assist in answering switchboard calls
-Will perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma(with a continued education plan)
-1 to 5 years minimal QA or technically equivalent position
