HR Compliance Coordinator
The BWH Human Resources Team is looking for a high-energy, organized HR Coordinator to support a high volume Human Resources Department.
The HR Coordinator uses strong organization skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate employee data and compliant records within the Brigham and Women's HR department. Working with other members of the HR Operations team, s/he provides consistent support to strengthen the infrastructure on which the HR department operates. The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanor, exhibit a solution-oriented mindset, and display an ability to manage a broad spectrum of tasks. The HR Coordinator will report directly to the Director of HR Operations and Compliance.
May be trained to cover for HR Representatives and other HR Coordinators.
??? Audits onboarding paperwork for compliance, and inputs employee file documents into the HR employee file system.
??? Enters employee information and accompanying documentation into electronic I-9 system for BWH new employees and existing BWH employees who work on Federal Contract that contains FAR E-Verify clause.
??? Enters work authorization information for new hires.
??? Audits and tracks employees who possess work authorizations, communicates with appropriate individuals when renewals are due, and enters re-verifications.
??? Audits and tracks employees who have licensure requirements and communicates with appropriate individuals when renewals are due. Completes primary source verification for licensure renewals.
??? Provides administrative support for the BWH Trustworthiness and Reliability Program
??? Audits and tracks all corrective actions and performance evaluations for compliance, enters appropriate information into our HR Management System, and communicates any issues with the appropriate individuals.
??? Compiles appropriate documentation when files are requested by internal and external groups, including court orders/subpoenas regarding employee records, individual employee requests, and regulatory audits and surveys.
??? Assists with preparation for and activities during compliance audits (JCAHO, DPH, CMS, etc).
??? Provides administrative support to hospital compliance initiatives, such as the mandatory flu vaccination policy.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

??? High School Diploma required; additional formal education desirable.
??? 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources or customer service setting is preferred.
