Project Manager, Faculty Development
The Project Manager on Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization (BWPO) Physician Engagement team is responsible for implementing and administering a variety of key initiatives related to physician wellness and professional development. The Project Manager will have specific project-based responsibilities surrounding faculty development as well as actively support the overall efforts of the Physician Engagement team. Core competencies include project management, teamwork, and communicating effectively.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Manager for Physician Engagement and will work directly with other team members, including project managers and clinical and administrative leaders to pilot, scale, and sustain strategic initiatives.
??? Responsible for the project management, data collection, dashboard creation and maintenance, staffing meetings and programs; and written, verbal, and visual presentation of current faculty development initiatives which may include but are not limited to:
o Longitudinal leadership/mentoring programs for large cohorts of clinical and research faculty;
o Grants and professional achievement awards;
o Physician recognition galas;
o Seminars/workshops around faculty development and professional advancement across BWH and in conjunction with other Harvard-affiliated hospitals.
??? Manages Physician Recognition Dinner planning process alongside cross-functional teams (e.g., HR). Coordinates scheduling and agendas for planning meetings and design of event's program details.
??? Leads efforts to identify/craft strategy, programming, and implementation plan for portfolio of new faculty development programming.
o Gathers feedback from BWPO leadership and hospital department/division staff to inform strategic decisions.
o Engages other Harvard-affiliated centers for faculty development to understand best practices/approaches.
??? Develops and maintains project plans and tracking documents to assist with monitoring and oversight of current/new projects.
??? Facilitates internal/external communication strategy and execution alongside Manager and broader team, including website content, e-newsletter articles, and/or email communications.
??? Collaborates across the Physician Engagement team, broader Medical Management team, with Partners Healthcare Inc, and other affiliated and external organizations to ensure that information flows smoothly and that key stakeholders stay updated on current work streams.
??? Collaborates with Manager to develop and track measures of success of faculty development initiatives, to be shared across departments and hospital leadership.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

--Strong computer skills with MS word (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access experience a plus)

??? Bachelor???s degree required.
??? 2-3 years project management experience required; healthcare project management experience preferred.
??? Demonstrated experience in managing working relationships in matrix structure.
